What we do:-
The Club is here to support our local community either directly or by raising funds and making donations to a wide variety of people and organisations covering all ages and needs. We support schools, hospitals, youth projects, those with disabilities of all ages and types, the elderly, families and community groups. Additionally a small amount of the funds we raise goes to other Lions Club International projects elsewhere in the UK or abroad.
Where & When do we meet:-
Walsall Lions meet on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month and visitors are most welcome to come along and see what goes on at our meetings. We meet at The County Hotel, Birmingham Road, Walsall, WS1 2NG and our meetings commence at 8pm. If possible please telephone or email our club secretary and let us know you are coming.
We Have Fun
We hold social events amongst ourselves and the people who support us such as wine evenings, special visits to places of interest, games and quiz nights .
What do we Need ?
Ideas for fundraising, raffle prizes, and people who can give their support by way of sponsorship
How Can You Help ?
Give us your skills, your time, your commitment and/or your money. Why not come and join us? We are people from all walks of life who can give up some spare time and attend two business meetings a month.
Our Administration:-
We raise our own administration funds so that all the money from the public goes back into the local community or Lions International projects.
Who are we?
Our members are locally based men and women, from all walks of life, who give some of our spare time to help those in our community who are less fortunate than ourselves.
